This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about both plans’ conditions and limitations in Notes. We’ve outlined the available features, any applicable restrictions, and how the free plan differs from a paid subscription for personal usage. File upload and recordings**. The free plan has strict monthly limits that may not be enough for frequent uploads or recordings. If you need more flexibility, the paid Basic plan offers more generous file upload limits and unlimited recordings. You can also purchase additional credits to upload more files, an option that isn’t available with the free plan. **2\. Time processing.** Meetings recorded or uploaded under a free plan may take longer to process than on a paid plan. **3\. Meeting history.** If you cancel Basic, your account will be downgraded to the free plan at the end of the billing cycle. Meeting audio files and text media (Meeting Notes, Transcriptions, Tasks) **older than 4 months** will be automatically deleted and cannot be recovered for the free plan. **Upgrade to a paid Basic plan** before the retention policy is activated to ensure all your meeting recordings are securely stored for a year. **4\. Automations**. The free plan is limited to 1 automation rule in Native Automations, allowing you to choose what, when, and where to send data to a chosen app. Zapier and Custom Automations are not available. **Basic** has extended limits: you can create **up to 3** automation rules and use Zapier templates to send Notes, Transcriptions, or Tasks to preferred tools. **5**. **Agent customization**. The Basic plan allows you to change the agent name from the standard {your\_workspace\_name} Sembly Agent to any other name for Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. The free plan has no customization options. By subscribing to the free plan, you will receive invoices for 0 USD each month. Do not worry, your card will not be charged.
